Welcome to the St. Paul's Hospital Diabetes Health Centre website!

The Diabetes Health Centre has been opened for over 35 years and our focus is supporting adults >18 years old with diabetes:

Our patients include:

• Prediabetes
• Type 2 diabetes
• Type 1 diabetes
• Gestational diabetes

Our team consists of certified diabetes educators who are nurses and dietitians.  Our clinic also has several Endocrinologists or diabetes specialists.  

Our goal is to help people self manage their diabetes by providing support and education on:

• meal planning
• physical activity
• medication managment - oral medication, insulins, insulin pumps
• blood glucose control - meters, sensors 
• psycho-social behaviours
